Chasing the Sun Tour

A 2.5-hour guided drive along Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline, timed for sunrise or sunset. Take the wheel of a Ferrari, Audi R8 or Porsche 911 as you follow the lead car through Camps Bay, Llandudno, Hout Bay and Chapman’s Peak, with scenic stops and coffee along the way. Designed for one car and two guests, it is a shorter Grand Touring experience with all the atmosphere of the open road.
Cape Point Tour

A signature sunrise drive along Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline, guided by our lead vehicle through Sea Point, Camps Bay, Llandudno and Hout Bay, before continuing over Chapman’s Peak Drive towards Cape Point. With 2-way radio communication, scenic photo stops, premium coffee and a refined ocean-view lunch, this is a beautifully hosted supercar experience, not a standard car rental.
Winelands Tour

A full-day guided supercar journey from Cape Town through the Huguenot Tunnel, over Du Toitskloof Pass and onward to Paarl, Stellenbosch, Helshoogte and Franschhoek. Follow our lead vehicle with 2-way radio guidance, pausing for coffee, mountain viewpoints, historic wine towns and a long, relaxed lunch before returning to Cape Town by mid-afternoon

Hi, I’m Jarred Welby-Cooke. That’s me in the photo, standing with the cars that are about to give you one of the best days of your life.
Before you trust us with something this special, you should know exactly who “us” is.
Five years ago, I co-founded Race Day Events – Africa’s original supercar driving experience. Since then, we’ve put thousands of people behind the wheel of the world’s most thrilling cars and earned a 4.8-star Google rating from real guests leaving real reviews. Our work has been featured by SABC News, TimeOut, Prestige Magazine and Primedia. Grand Touring Co. grew out of that. For three years, our guests kept asking us for the same thing: not a few short minutes, but a whole day on the open road, their partner beside them, an iconic supercar in their hands, and someone who knows every bend leading the way. So we built it.
This is not a rental. It’s a day we host personally, on the most beautiful roads in the Cape, with the same obsession for safety and detail that made Race Day Events’ name.

Our tours operate on a lead-follow system, with a guide vehicle driving ahead and 2-way radio communication keeping the experience smooth, connected and beautifully paced.
Lead-Follow Guidance
Your Grand Touring Co. guide leads the route in a separate vehicle, allowing you to follow with confidence while staying immersed in the drive. With 2-way radio communication throughout the tour, you’ll receive route updates, stop information and guidance along the way.
Curated Cape Town Routes
Every route is carefully planned around scenic roads, premium stops and a smooth guest experience. Because this is a guided tour, we can avoid areas that are less suited to a luxury touring environment while showcasing the most beautiful parts of the Cape.

Are there any requirements to join the tour?
Yes. All drivers must hold a valid driver’s licence for at least 5 years, and passengers must be 14 years or older to participate.
Do you accept international driver’s licences?
Yes. We accept licences issued in English, as well as valid International Driving Permits.
How long are the tours?
We offer half-day and full-day experiences, with departures from 6:00 am.
Can I book a vehicle for myself only?
Absolutely. Private solo bookings are available.
May I bring a passenger?
Yes. Each vehicle accommodates one additional passenger. Guests can swap between driver and passenger throughout the day.
How many guests join each tour?
To ensure an exclusive experience, tours are limited to a maximum of 6 guests across 3 supercars.
Do you accommodate group bookings?
Yes. Bespoke group experiences can be arranged on request.
What if the weather is not ideal?
Our tours operate in all weather conditions, ensuring a memorable experience regardless of the forecast.

Is there a deposit?
No large rental-style deposit is required. Because this is a guided Grand Touring experience rather than a traditional supercar rental, the structure is designed to be simpler and more seamless for guests.
