Cape Town’s Most Luxurious Half-Day Tour
A Sunrise Coastal Drive
Begin your morning behind the wheel of a supercar as Cape Town awakens around you. This half-day luxury tour combines open-road driving, Atlantic coastline views, scenic photo stops, premium coffee, mountain passes and a five-star ocean-view lunch.
Unlike a standard car rental, this is a fully guided Grand Touring experience. Guests follow our lead vehicle along a carefully planned route, with 2-way radio communication keeping the group connected from departure to lunch.
The Peninsula at first light, before the coaches arrive. Guests take the wheel of the Ferrari, Audi R8 or Porsche 911 and follow the lead car along the Atlantic seaboard. Chapman’s Peak feels open, Cape Point is reached before the morning rush, and Ou Kaapse Weg closes the drive. A five-star brunch at Steenberg brings everyone back to town by lunchtime, with the rest of the day still ahead.

Through Cape Town’s most breathtaking coastal scenery
Your Journey, Beautifully Curated

06:00 – Departure from Gardens
The morning begins while Cape Town is still quiet. After a short driver briefing, radios are synced, the cars are settled, and the convoy rolls out from Gardens onto empty early-morning roads.

Camps Bay Warm-Up
The first stretch drops toward the Atlantic seaboard, with Kloof Nek opening into Camps Bay beneath the Twelve Apostles. It is a gentle first pause, time to settle into the cars and take in the soft morning light.

Victoria Road to Hout Bay
From Camps Bay, the route follows one of Cape Town’s most beautiful coastal roads. The drive slips past Llandudno and into Hout Bay, with the ocean on one side and mountain walls rising on the other.

Chapman’s Peak
The signature stop of the morning. At this hour, Chapman’s Peak is still calm and open, the big lay-by, the wide Atlantic view, and the kind of setting that feels made for a Grand Touring Co. photograph.

Cape Point & Cape of Good Hope
The convoy continues through Noordhoek, Kommetjie and Scarborough before entering the reserve. Cape Point is reached before the main morning rush, giving guests time to enjoy the southern edge of the peninsula at its most peaceful.

Over Ou Kaapse Weg
Leaving the reserve, the route turns inland and climbs over Ou Kaapse Weg. The drive shifts from coastal drama to sweeping mountain roads, carrying the convoy toward the Constantia valley and the day’s brunch stop.

Brunch at Steenberg
The journey softens into a five-star brunch at Steenberg, South Africa’s oldest wine estate. Pre-ordered, relaxed and beautifully paced, it gives guests time to unwind before the final return into the city.

Return to Gardens
After brunch, the route follows the M3 back through Cape Town’s southern suburbs. By lunchtime, the cars are back in Gardens, with the full peninsula behind you and the rest of the day still ahead.

Every road on this route is tarred and maintained, chosen deliberately for low, wide cars. Chapman’s Peak Drive is a smooth, engineered toll road; Ou Kaapse Weg is a sealed mountain pass; the M65 to Cape Point and the M3 home are tar the whole way. Nothing on the loop will trouble a Ferrari 360, an R8 or a 911.

The One Rule - Inside Cape Point Reserve
The main loop to the Point and the signboard is fully paved. The spur roads to the wild beaches, Olifantsbos, Gifkommetjie and Platboom, are gravel and are the only dirt roads in the park. The lead car keeps the convoy on the tarred loop and ignores those turn-offs. Take estate entrances and speed bumps (Steenberg’s gate, the Cape Point car park) slowly and at a slight angle, as with any low front splitter.
Three icons of performance. One unforgettable Grand Touring experience.
